Songs Of Peace

Greetings in Peace,
I realize that many throughout Our Global Community are frustrated, angry and Hurt, by the actions Mr. Putin has initiated over the past month. I hope we can all come to an agreement that (paraphrasing the words of Rev Martin Luther King, Jr) “hate will not erase hate, only Love can heal us all.” The Neville Brothers sang, “Eyes blinded by fear, anger and hatred do not see the Truth.”
When HIV and Covid-19 broke out in our Communities much hatred followed. With HIV it was strongly focused on those who contracted the disease, with Covid-19 it was towards people who were associated with the “thought to be origin” of the initial outbreak. Yet, give thanks, that compassion began to grow and so did our collective ability to address the physical, mental and Spiritual wounds that were set in motion by the viruses, and I will say fuelled by the hatred associated with them.
Maybe we can look at Mr. Putin’s actions as a result of a lifetime of troubled outlook. A result of feeling separate from Love? How would we look at or treat a friend with Covid-19 or HIV? Both physical diseases. Would we not Pray? I do! I say that Prayer is very good trouble.
It is written that if you are going to the altar to give a gift and you have ill will towards another, it is best to leave and reconcile with that person (or persons) then return and give your gift. This is best an action of the Heart. Sometimes the person is no longer alive or out of contact.
Lucky Dube, considered the African Ambassador of Reggae Music (the roots of Reggae is found in Gospel Music; Worship and Respect of the Almighty.) sang,
“We did not start the wars that we are fighting now,
We did not start the fires that are burning now,
(I add, )
We did not create the confusion that confuses Us now and then, Yet we can create the Peace that we all deserve now And forever.”
Mr. Putin is not the only one caught in hatred in our World Political Regime (Political babylon) which seems to be a bit off on their words and actions not to forget that which has been left unsaid.
Mr. Putin, nor the rest, did not create war. There is no one alive that created the hatred so prevalent in our Global Community. So easily spread throughout the many Social Media platforms, none of which I am aware of that were created for that reason—although they surely exist. Even the Churches (Ecclesiastical babylon) are caught in the confusion one way or another. As Fleetwood Mac sang, “The world’s in a tangle.”
So, again, No Mr. Putin was not the originator of war (the unforgiven acts of lifetimes). Yet most definitely we can and WILL! collectively cultivate the PEACE we all deserve now and forever!So I call all to share Prayer with Vladimir Putin and all World Leaders (you included) similar to how Elisha did (II Kings 6:17), “Father, I pray thee open OUR eyes that all may see the way of PEACE.”
